hi to all my new linux friends,
i am relatively new to Linux(i had used RH 5 for 3 months in '99).
I am currently using RH 6.1 with KDE.I used KPPP to configure my internet
connection.
However on opening KDE a message pops up saying that the kernel does not
support PPP and that I have to install a new kernel.
Linuxers, tell me one thing doesnt RH 6.1 have kernel which is above 2.0?
even then i continue to connect to the net my username and password are not
transmiited and my connection gets timed-out.
i do not know whther my login script is proper.here is the way i configured
it
Expect:User Access Verification
Pause:1 sec
Expect:Username //connection gets timed out here
Send:myusername
Expect:Password
Send:mypassword
Prompt:>
Send:ppp
