hi,
whoever saw my first mail and replied back a great thank you.the login
script worked properly.
But now comes another problem.
I have RH 6.1 and guys,i think my kernel is 2.2.12 i hope i got that right.
But when i start KPPP it says that there is no ppp module on my kernel and
that i need to install a kernel that has one.well i think i had installed
all the packages during my Linux installation.
Even then i ignore the message and go ahead to connnect to the net.
the login script executes properly until after the ppp command is
transmitted.
the modem gets disconnected and a messagebox says that pppd daemon does not
exist ....something like that.
what should i do?can i just get the pppd daemon from the web and save it in
the proper directory?
advice needed.
