There seems to be a confusion here - between LILO and loadlin. LILO is
installed into the MBR and can provide a dual boot option at bootup time.
loadlin is used to load linux once the computer is booted into pure dos
mode. This if useful for people who don't want to change the MBR, or if it
gets written over during a Windoze reinstallation.
