When I tried to install Linux on a friends machine I got the following
message while doing fdisk during install.
The number of cylinders for this disk is set to 2227.
This is larger than 1024 and may cause problems with:
1) Software that runs at boot time (eg LILO)
2) booting and partitioning software from other OSs (eg DOS FDISK, OS/2
FDISK)
What do I do to install Linux on his machine?
Awaiting your reply.
Bye.
