there r basically three types of makin a boot floppy
go to the /images directory in the cdrom

it has three files

if ya hav a CDROM and ya want to do it locally
try this on a dos formatted floppy

cd /images
\dosutils\rawrite -d boot.img -f  a:

like wise for the other too
the other two are for a network installation and a pcmcia installation in
case of a laptop
