good idea.
i offer to make a website for you to display them. Could any a/v wizard
give ra/mpeg of simulating their action on display and messages.

why only four. McAfee's database last month already had 50,000 strains.

I forgot to mention that excel provides vb shell, hence in any system
where excel is installed, vb is very much alive and run-able. All those
are prone to lovebug infections.

to know about lovebug readiness (sic) of your pc, search for vb*.* in
your pc. if you do find at least vbrun200.dll, bugs are coming to love
you.

coming to think of it, i do not find any of these capabilities in
linuxlings also.

by krpton, i only meant to highlight alien nature of windowzers as
linuxlings here consider. people must have been seeing mars-attack and
independence day portraying human-like aliens bent on destruction and
supremacy. Only some of us are SETI people. :-)

missed the reference. my amar chitra katha and chandamama fell short of
it. please elaborate. :-)

if you seriously want to know, (i mean you must already be knowing)
first attack of virus thru net came only thru MS-WORD macro. Not thru
browser, but thru email utilities. Most of the documents sent on net are
made on WORD, courtesy winxx. so it was not a matter of alarm for the
recipient to find a .doc attachment, and he used to click on it a force
of habit. Hence it did serve the malicious purpose even without
achieving noble prize for techy supremacy.

what is hand hacking?
