>From what you have mentioned, I think that you have two MX entries...
In this case point your MX records to one server and have all mail going to
the same server.
OR run a masquerading sendmail which rewrites the envelope to whatever you
want your return address to be to avoid looping.

>Hi,
>I would be glad if anyone can give me some clue to solve foll problem:
>Setup:
>We have 2 offices : Mumbai and Nashik and have a domain called xyz.com
>On xyz.com, we have setup 2 pop accounts called nashik and mumbai.
>All the users in respective offices have been mapped as aliases to resp pop
>box.
>In both the offices a Linux box dials to ISP and sends mails as well as
>downloads mails from its pop3box on the domain.
>Both the Linux server use sendmail and fetchmail only.
>
>Problem:
>When [EMAIL PROTECTED] sends a mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and a cc to
>[EMAIL PROTECTED] then
>both the receipents get the mail but the other Linux server creates a copy
>of the mail for the receipent who is not present on that local system. When
>that message reaches the domain server on the net, it finds that the
>message
>header has already its entry and so it bounces back to the sender saying
>the
>message has been looping. SInce the sender is not sure that if the message
>has been delivered or not, he gets panicky.
>
>Can you suggest anything to stop this looping?
