There is a difference between helping and spoon-feeding. >From what I have seen so far in India, students/newbies are not taught to think. Education doesn't train them to think. They are being spoon-fed all the time. So, when they come out of their shell to the real world, they don't know how to tackle/solve problems. They expect everyone to spoon-feed them and solve the problems for them. So, it is essential that they learn to troubleshoot/debug, and only ask for help after they have done their homework.
