This is a nascent project attempting to provide a collaborative platform
for (but not limited to) students attempting software projects as part
of their academic activities. The platform is not limited to academic
projects or even just software. In fact, the concept is barely "out of
the brain and onto the web page", to speak of.
I request you all to take a look at the project wiki and signup to
participate in the discussion. To give you a hint of the brainstorming
progress, these are the (so far) two pages with some ideas.

Activity is low as MU engineering exams are in progress. But others can
