Its a HP Compaq v5000, Intel Centrino Duo, 1 gig RAM, pcmcia card

Fedora will give you a problem. Don't know about SUSE. Ubuntu is perfect
for this kind of LAPTOP. I am running Ubuntu on HP dv5118TX. For more
