Yes for INR 1500, it is. Or else for INR ~700 there is 1
or 2 GB cap ( after that per mb charges apply, don't remember how
much) . Btw, don't go by those figures. They will add infinite number
of taxes and bring it really close to INR 2K in case of first plan. I
am using that plan, it works well for me. Works out of the box with
Kubuntu with kernel version 2.6.15-27-686 from their repos. And works
everywhere I have taken it too.
