Hi,
The thread started with an invitation for Scilab workshop claimed by the
organisers as a free software.However , a sizable number of members of the
group do not agree  with it  . The organizers of the workshop for promoting
Scilab be should be informed about it.

Looking at the  first mail it looks like the organizers are not a member of
this forum.
