Sorry for the delayed reply.  If you or someone wants to write a post
to slashdot let me know what answers you need.  I tried my best to
write on the home page.  it will be difficult for me know what palces
should I simplify.

Can you suggest improvements?

Regarding whether the server can withstand the aftermath of slashdotting, yes.
