Hi all,
Recently I upgraded the X server from 4.0.3 to 4.2. Now, when I start
WindowMaker, I get the following message.....
wmaker warning: X server does not support locale
wmaker warning: cannot set locale modifiers
wmaker warning: could not open IM
X still works, but now I am not able to start OpenOffice. I get the
message.....
I18N: X Window does not support locale "en_US"
I18N: X Window does not support locale "C"
When I start Mozilla, I get the following message......
Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by Xlib, locale set to C
Gdk-WARNING **: can not set locale modifiers
The "locale" is properly set, because when I check the environment
variable LANG, it gives me "en_US"
[rajen@localhost ~]$ echo $LANG
en_US
What seems to be the problem ? Why doesn't X set the locale ?
