subject is an optional tag which you may use to give additional info about the email.
I don't think it's optional. Imagine going through a _HUGE_ number of
mail in your mailbox when someone wants to locate your mail.
If it was optional (and hence undesirable for some ppl) most webmail
clients would not show you the subject line.
*Please* include a subject in your next mail.
