Hello, A bit of a problem with sound on my work i810 motherboard.
I use 32-ohm AKG headphones and the onboard AC97 sound doesn't have the grunt to drive them. I've put in a PCI YMF724 card, which shows up in /proc/pci but without an IRQ mentioned. The kernel module won't load. What am I missing? Do I need to disable the AC97 first? If so, how?
