why do u need a script..RAID is supposed to give u redundant data itself..(of course depending on what kinda RAID you got there...) In any kinda RAID, you still need to rebuild the data - software RAID utility might give u that facility.Even in case of hardware RAID, the system will warn abt disk failure and then u can replace the disk, and rebuild data. regds, kishor __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
