This one affects everybody using FAT / LFN and will expand to affect everyone using ANY M$ file system. What is the story on the Indian Patent office's take on software patents. After all the noise they seem to be ominously silent. Did anyone attend CII –DIPP Nationwide Intellectual Property Rights -Awareness Campaign held on 3rd March in Mumbai. Btw my email to M. W. Dhumane dated 26/8/08 specifically pointing out some software patents (217179, 210794, 217913, 220214) issued by IPO has received no response.
