Hi everyone,
I have a Pentium-4 with 256MB RAM, 845GLLY motherboard and a 20GB hard disk. I tried to install Fedora Core 3 on my PC. The installation went fine. I also get the graphical login screen after rebooting. However instead of getting the KDE desktop all I get is a terminal window with the title 'xterm' and another window with a clock(xclock).
A friend of mine faced the same problem after installation. He restarted the system and got back the desktop. I tried restarting but it didn't work.
Since the graphical login screen is showing up as expected, I do not think there is any problem with the run level or even with the resolution. Working with the command line is fun but I need to read some pdf files!
Any solution?
Regards,
Nandan Rao
