Hi fellows,
I'm attaching a port of our internal m8xx_pcmcia.c (based on MontaVista 2.1's 2.4.17 kernel with many fixes) to v2.6. It works fine on our MPC8xx boxes, detects cards on the two slots, removal/insert event works. Would be nice if other people could give it a try. Also very interesting thing would be to merge other fixes done by MontaVista or others to this one driver and merge it upstream at some point. I volunteer to maintain it. -------------- next part -------------- /* -*- linux-c -*- */ /* * m8xx_pcmcia.c - Linux PCMCIA socket driver for the mpc8xx series. * * (C) 1999-2000 Magnus Damm <damm at bitsmart.com> * (C) 2001-2002 Montavista Software, Inc. * <mlocke at mvista.com> * Support for two slots by Cyclades Corporation * <oliver.kurth at cyclades.de> * * v2.6 kernel port, further fixes by Cyclades Corporation * <marcelo.tosatti at cyclades.com> * * "The ExCA standard specifies that socket controllers should provide * two IO and five memory windows per socket, which can be independently * configured and positioned in the host address space and mapped to * arbitrary segments of card address space.
