It was an error on my part, I wasn't waiting long enough in comparison to 
'ph2sys -u 6' it is much slower.

Hi Harold,

According to ptp4l.8 summary_interval is supported.... you have to use it in 
the configuration file. :)

Does this not appear to work for you?
