On the contrary, the Altera HPS EMAC stores the time in two 32-bit registers, one representing seconds and the other nanoseconds. AFAICT, the hardware does not latch the time into the two registers on read, and so a one second error is to be expected. > Thoughts? The HW is broken by design.
