If the IPSec tunnel doesn't support multicast, you would have to use one of the unicast based profiles, no?

Hi folks, Has anyone successfully implemented PTP across an IPSec tunnel? We have a set up where we have a master clock in one shelter, an IPSec tunnel via hardware on a pair of ICX-7450 switches between the two shelters, and then a second shelter with computers that should be slaves to the master clock. The issue we're seeing is that the IPSec tunnel doesn't support multicast and so the initial PTP multicast packet isn't getting through to start the slaving process in the 2nd shelter. The equipment in the same shelter as the master clock is indeed successfully slaving to the clock, so I know it isn't an issue with that part of the setup. Best regards, Alan Taber
