Hello, Can you please tell me if it's expected of both, master and slave devices to send pdelay_request? I thought that only slave should send this.
Slave will use calculated pdelay to correct itself, but what does master do with it? My guess is that it's only calculated so that linuxptp can mark the port as 802.1as not-capable if the delay is greater than the threshold? And to know pdelay in advance if the port becomes a slave? Thank you!
