It isn't working, obviously. Forget linuxptp for the moment. Use wirehark/tcpdump to see what happens when you connect two sensors. I tried a Cisco switch that implemented E2E correctly, but it had no P2P support. I've seen a Lab-X switch that did 802.1-AS (mostly) correctly. I've never got my hands on a commercial switch that implements P2P. Also, there really aren't many choices on the market. Sad.
