Hi,

We are running PTP4L on an Intel NIC(on Linux CentOS 7 System) which is
connected to a PTP Master Boundary Clock through a 1G Copper link.

We are seeing that the offset levels on PTP4L are spiking up to ~330
microseconds multiple times in a day. See the logs below in red. And once
in a while it spikes up to few 100s of milliseconds (see log event in bold
and blue)

Any pointers or suggestions on what could be going wrong here?

NOTE: There is no other NTP or Chrony or PTP process running on this Linux
Server.

Thanks,
Ankur
