My HDD went tits up after about 3 months with this laptop. Called HP and they had the laptop checked and HDD replaced in 2/3 days. No problems since.

any one here have issues with the service centers when their system is
in need of repairs?

for me they continue to do a half a**ed job and the machine comes back
in worse condition then it left in (scratches mouse buttons broken
missing rubber feet)
if i did not need the contract to make sure it works during school i
would not be paying them for extended service

feel free to chime in on your experiences
