Yep, 32 bit. I have not personally tested 64 bit kernels much, but I plan to move to 64-bit Ubuntu once I get my permanent connection at home (should be soon.) However, if the modem is supported by the snd-intel8x0m module, I don't see why it should not work in 64-bit systems.
