and Mine, about 1 year, 4 months old. From what I hear the best way to keep your battery from degrading (to much) is to charge it up to about 70%, then store it in a cool place. It should extend the life by at least 50%. If mine lasts another year or so I'll be happy - by that time I'll buy me another cell to finish college. And when I graduate maybe get another notebook.
