I have patched my kernel with the
http://www.suspend2.net/downloads/all/suspend2-2.2-rc9-for-2.6.14.tar.bz2
patch.
I have modified the nvidia driver source with this help instruction:
http://prinsig.se/weekee/index.php/Nvidia-7167-swsusp2.patch_%28Ehsan%29

Now the suspend work fine (with filewriter)

The problem:
After hibernate the X often fails to initialize the ALPS driver, and the
touchpad scrolling stop to work.
If (pending the resume process) I touch the touchpad and enable/disable
with the touchpad enabling button, sometime the X succesfully resume.
And I can use the scrolling feature. But its rare.

Any hint how can I workaround on this problem (If I restart the X work
again).
Here is the error message:
(II) Synaptics touchpad driver version 0.14.3
ALPS no synaptics event device found (checked 11 nodes)
ALPS The /dev/input/event* device nodes seem to be missing
(**) Option "Device" "/dev/input/event2"
(EE) xf86OpenSerial: Cannot open device /dev/input/event2
        No such file or directory.
Synaptics driver unable to open device

The same thing happen, when:
1. start the laptop without any X or xdm/gdm and companies.
2. startx

The same error happen.
If after this error I disable and reenable the touchpad, the kernel
report:
input: PS/2 Mouse on isa0060/serio4
input: AlpsPS/2 ALPS GlidePoint on isa0060/serio4

So after that, the startx work fine and the X server launch.
I love the scrolling feature, I want it, so I must find a workaround;)

Any hint?
