I'd be inclined to go to www.bootdisk.com and get the Windows 98 boot
disk image onto a floppy disk, copy the BIOS update onto it and reboot.

*BACK UP THE CURRENT BIOS FIRST*

*PRINT ANY INSTRUCTIONS FOR RECOVERY*
