Thanks for the assistance / advice, but what do I do if I don't have a floppy disk drive? Can I make a Win98 Boot CD?

I'd be inclined to go to www.bootdisk.com and get the Windows 98 boot
disk image onto a floppy disk, copy the BIOS update onto it and reboot.

*BACK UP THE CURRENT BIOS FIRST*

*PRINT ANY INSTRUCTIONS FOR RECOVERY*

Sorry about the CAPS, but they are vital points :)

Kind regards,

Julian

I have been attempting to update the bios, but have been unable to get my system to boot to WinXP. I have tried BartPE and can boot it to two other systems, but my HP zv6100 will not boot to the BartPE CD.

What is the best way to get the bios update installed?
