Have you noticed a big drop in run time on battery using a 7K drive?

Thank you for sharing this with us, Matthew.

How about the noise of the 7200 rpm drive? I've thinking about getting the Hitachi 100 GB 7200 rpm drive. I read somewhere (I think it was Tom's Hardware) that the 7200 rpm drives are kind of noisy.

PS. Although I have not tested it recently, my battery should last over three hours if I dim the display, even if I use the wifi a bit. I have the high-capacity battery.
