firefox 1.5 is supposed to be more of a memory hog than 1.0.x. Are you running the latest firefox update from Fedora (1.5.0.2-1.2.fc5)? There were several Red Hat engineers diagnosing places that firefox was chewing up memory and had fixed at least some of them. -Toshio
