Hello,

Håkan's solution seems to be right. I checked my kernel config and :
# CONFIG_HIGHMEM4G is not set
# CONFIG_HIGHMEM64G is not set

I'm running Debian testing with the default 2.6.16-2-486 kernel. So I tried
running a Ubuntu live CD and as John said it works just fine and sees all the
memory.

I was also wondering which kernel architecture is the best for an AMD64 running
a 32 bits OS.

Thanks for your answers,

Yannick
