Hmm, before the Indigo release I went through all of the perspectives and verified there were no NPEs. I guess I missed one, sorry. Please file a bug: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug.cgi?product=Linux%20Tools&component=Systemtap > Is SystemTap an actively maintained project, since the info I found on > the internet are quite old. If so, can someone provide me a pointer > to some doc about its features, usage, etc? SystemTap itself is quite actively maintained [0]. The Eclipse plugins are not the most active parts of Linux Tools but they are maintained by Anithra from IBM. There isn't a tonne of updated documentation on its usage. There's an open bug requesting documentation for how non-committers can test it out [1]. Corey Ashford from IBM has recently been updating the documentation to clean up the HTML and make it conform with the rest of Eclipse's help formatting [2]. The help docs as they stand are available as part of the Indigo help centre: http://help.eclipse.org/indigo/topic/org.eclipse.linuxtools.systemtap.ui.doc/Linux_Tools_Project/SystemTap/User_Guide/gettingstarted/gettingStarted.html I'm sure Anithra and others would be interested in help. There are a number of open bugs: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/buglist.cgi?query_format=advanced;bug_status=UNCONFIRMED;bug_status=NEW;bug_status=ASSIGNED;bug_status=REOPENED;component=systemtap;product=Linux%20Tools;classification=Technology HTH, Andrew [0] http://sourceware.org/systemtap/ [1] 286153: Document non-automated SystemTap test plan https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=286153 [2] 349720: SystemTap Help formatting doesn't conform to the rest of the Eclipse Help. https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=349720 _______________________________________________ linuxtools-dev mailing list [email protected] https://dev.eclipse.org/mailman/listinfo/linuxtools-dev
