A company named Percona out of the Bay area is running a MySQL
training seminar in Los Angeles next month. It's not free, but it's
VERY reasonably priced. My employer paid for this exact same training
session a little over a month ago, where we had them come to our
office and do the training in-house. I can enthusiastically say that
this was one of the best classes I've ever been to. If your company
uses MySQL, especially InnoDB, then you stand to get a lot out of this
presentation. They originally offered just a couple of sessions in
the Bay area, but demand was greater than they had hoped, and so keep
adding locations to the schedule.

If anybody has any questions, throw them at me, either on or offlist.
