Well the NetApp vs Sun over ZFS lawsuit isn't helping anything either. It is rather hard to find adopters for a technology that is free that is already mired in a lawsuit.

That said, the dedup ability in ZFS is a pretty neat feature, and could save a serious amount of space depending on your usage model.
