I didn't get a response from Joel; I bought the Hero yesterday. Still a lot
more getting used to it; battery life today sucked. Maybe because I hadn't
charged it full up; maybe because I had it working most of the time, trying
TV, etc.

I can get used to the on-screen keyboard (though I haven't yet), and if I'm
lucky I can get either a bluetooth kb or a usb keyboard, and make it work.

So far, an interesting phone, though there are a few things I haven't figured
out yet.

Monthly was exactly what I was paying. My plan was fully compatible. I am
paying a bit more for insurance; I'm spending three bucks a month more to
insure against everything.
