Not trying to not be of help... It's just trusting an app on windows
to handle the firewall just seems ill advised.

I personally like the symantec end point solution. I haven't used
ZoneAlarm since Windows 98/2000 was the norm.  But I still run my
windows in a vm behind a iptables configuration.
