I now need Windows <frown>. I need it to manage Citrix Xenserver. Unfortuntely, but I need Citrix Xenserver to offer the most flexibility in linux-based VPS hosting to my clients.
I even need it to install Xenserver on my linux server. I've got an old laptop running Windows XP. And I guess I can use it. But I'm thinking seriously of buying a 17" laptop (with full size keyboard), a carry- with-me office, so-to-speak. Should I run Windows within a virtual machine (presuming this is possible with Xenserver) or should I go for dual-boot? Should I find my xp media and use the license I've got with my old laptop? Or should I buy (Fry's has it) a new OEM windows OS? Any hints on installation? Thanks.
