On a [(Ubuntu - Gnome) + Unity]  note:

I had not seen any such review of Gnome 3, but I would not be
surprised if some of what is said here is true.  I like Gnome better
that the alternatives, but I am aware that many devs have big
complaints, i.e., Linus Torvald.  I have no idea who this poster is,
but recent posts about Gnome 3 made me google a bit.  Just thought I
would share.
