if you failed to boot from your machine, take your hard drive and plug into
another PC or desktop and do
# dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sda

if it is detected as /dev/sda to wipe clean the drive

then if you can't use your cd drive to boot from installation CD, use
external CD/DVD drive

i sincerely hope you tried my suggestions.
