Whenever I run the PeopleBrowsr social networking app on my Gnome desktop, its 'conversation bubbles' (new message alerts) don't display properly and instead a black box appears in the area where the alert is supposed to be. I can't make the black box go away except by re- launching the app. What's the deal here?
