I suppose so, but being so new to this OS I am trying to learn the
general commands and the useful switches.  It doesn't make sense in my
case to start using aliases just yet, or else I will be "lost" on any
machine that doesn't have my aliases defined.

The history thingy with the up arrow key is the *BOMB*.  And we never
used DOSKEY.  It was weak and worthless and sucked up what little
memory DOS had  :D
