I got an email from the owner of that business, asking me to set up a new, password protected share (or rather, password protected directories in the share). We have a Linksys RV042 VPN router, and he vpns via PPTP. How can I get him set up for password protected directories with such an arrangement? I set up his username / password for the VPN in the router; then, he has to enter his username / password for the server (which is a system username / password, not a samba one).
This has to be easy b/c this guy is not into complicated solutions.
