Perhaps you could post your smb.conf file. (On Debian or Debian based systems it is usually located in /etc/samba/).

Also, checkout the /smbclient/ man pages. That is a very helpful tool for diagnosing problems. For example you can try the following command from a Linux machine on the same network:/
smbclient -L SERVERNAME_OR_IP_ADDRESS/
That should list the shares you have set up.
