Sure:

1) use wget's mirror option, and link the torrent from a central page
2) use the find command to find new files in the directory
3) checksum the file & look for it in a 'checksums.log' file. If it doesn't
exist, add it, then proceed to download it.


Isn't it easier to just turn on ssh, then login to initiate the torrent
download in a CLI BT client?
