64-bit is just as easy/hard as 32-bit for getting it to work.  If
you've got the right hardware, it just works.

64-bits with Ubuntu Lucid preinstalled, so you don't have to worry
about getting it working.    Plus you can see how much all the extra
goodies will cost.  Starts at $780,within your friends budget, but If
you max out everything, it comes in at just over $1,900.
