I have been researching this a while with no luck.After hibernation I
have no mouse or trackpad. Only ctrl+T to open terminal then command
"modprobe psmouse" starts it. I want a way to have this happen
automatically . I tried editing the /etc/default/acpi-support file and
added psmouse to
this area of the file but either that doesn't work or I did it wrong,
the paste below is with the psmouse removed as it was originally
# Add modules to this list to have them removed before suspend and
reloaded
# on resume. An example would be MODULES="em8300 yenta_socket"
#
# Note that network cards and USB controllers will automatically be
unloaded
# unless they're listed in MODULES_WHITELIST
MODULES=""
This started with Ubuntu Lucid, worked fine on same machine before
that upgrade. Please answer for a beginner as I am not getting
something here, thank you.
